Mystery Morning visits

It was great to meet young readers this summer and autumn at bookshops and the Southend Forum library when my mystery morning took to the road.

I was given a warm welcome at Read on Sea bookshop in May and at The Book Nut in South Woodham Ferrers, a cosy and inviting place for booklovers of all ages and well worth a visit. We talked about what makes a good mystery book and discussed my latest books Starship Mystery and The Curse of Raven’s Hall.

At Southend Library youngsters solved clues to my secret boxes and they even had a go at making their own mystery maps!

Thanks to all the staff who facilitated the sessions and to those who came along.

Below are some of the comments received from the library event – “Excellent engagement for our six year old”, “lovely presentation”, “My granddaughter enjoyed listening to the stories and participating”, and “it was amazing”
