The Big Friendly Read is coming up this summer at libraries across the country.
Last year more than 750,000 children took part in the summer reading challenge to encourage children to read six books over the holidays collecting stickers and rewards along the way.
Last year A Scarf and a Half was on the reading list. I have seen this year’s recommended books and there are some great titles to look out for.
